My Interpretation of an Indie Fan from the answers given within Audience Research 

My indie fan is male, aged between sixteen to twenty one. He has a passion for music and his favourite indie band is the Arctic Monkeys although he also enjoys listening to the Libertines. He shops for his clothing at Topman and several other high street places, his typical day to day clothing usually consists of a plain t-shirt, jeans with either a hoodie or a shirt. My indie fan isn’t in a band himself although in his spare time he does play guitar, and goes to see bands live His most favourite band to see live would be either Bombay Bicycle Club or Arcade Fire, He is also a fan of football and plays regularly. His peers were the ones to originally introduce him to indie music but since then he finds he enjoys the music  due to the “Creativity and unique appeal. Unlike metal, R&B and Clubland it is real music”
