Question 4- How did you use Media Technologies in the construction, research, planning and evaluation stages?

Question 3- What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Evaluation Question 2 - How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

The font used in our digipak and advert reflects the same image as  the one shown on The Libertines albums. The similarity emphasizes the style of the indie genre and its conventions. To an audience the bands signature style is easily recognized. The newspaper style of the font reflects the bands appreciation of wholly the music and not presentation. Also simplicity is shown again reflecting the importance of solely the music.

The theme of simplicity was continued with our digipak to reinforce the idea of the laid back indie stereotype within the genre. The black and white reflects the indie genre and stereotypical colour scheme.  Throughout the production of the digipak and advert we kept this themes importance to show the conventions. Using this colour scheme and simplicity a strong link between the main product and ancillary texts was shown as well as a likeness to The Libertines.

Our photography on the digipak and advert also draws parallels with The Libertines' as we chose natural shots rather than a posed image; this reinforces the idea of the indie image.
